MITCHELL’S PROSCIUTTO PIZZA

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 lb. pizza dough

  • Fresh mozzarella cheese
  • Prosciutto
  • Basil
  • Olive Oil
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Use a baking steel or baking stone and heat on high broil for 30 minutes.
  2. Lightly flour a pizza peel before laying out the dough on the peel with an inch of dough hanging over so it grabs the cooking surface and slides off.
  3. Cook prosciutto in a skillet 1/2 way. You don’t want to fully cook it or it will burn in the oven.
  4. Turn the oven to 450° F.
  5. Add marinara sauce to pizza dough. Tear cheese from ball and spread over marinara. Top with prosciutto.
  6. Place in the oven on desired cooking surface for 5-8 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil and drizzle with olive oil before cutting.
