PEP N’ HONEY PIZZA

INGREDIENTS
  • Store-bought or homemade pizza dough
  • Pepperoni
  • Red sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Oregano
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • Red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Preheat the oven to 450° F.
  2. Take the risen dough and roll out on a floured surface. Roll thin, then stretch on to a baking sheet or pizza pan.
  3. Spread red sauce evenly on dough, leaving a crust. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Place pepperoni on cheese and top with oregano.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is golden brown and the bottom of dough is crispy.
  6. While the pizza is cooking, add honey and red pepper flakes to small saucepan. Bring to a simmer.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in apple cider vinegar.
  8. Once pizza is cooked, remove from oven and drizzle with the hot honey mixture.
  9. Serve hot.
