Muffie’s Marvelous Buffalo Tenders




4-6 Servings


  • 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken tenders
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 12 oz Buffalo Hot Sauce
  • Olive Oil
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Heat the buffalo sauce and butter in a small sauce pan, stirring until butter is completely melted.
  3. Once combined, line the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking pan with a thin layer of the buffalo sauce mixture. Set aside.
  4. Beat the eggs in a small bowl and place in a shallow dish.
  5. Pour the flour and black pepper in large Ziploc bag.
  6. Dip the tenders one at a time in the egg mixture, being sure to shake off any excess egg.
  7. Once coated, place all the tenders in the bag of flour. Close and shake well until all the tenders are completely covered in flour.
  8. Coat a large sauté pan with olive oil (approx. 3-4 tbsp). Once hot, fry the tenders in batches for about 3 minutes per side (or until the outside is slightly brown).
  9. Place the tenders in a single layer in the baking pan on top of the buffalo sauce.
  10. Once complete, pour the remaining buffalo sauce over the tenders evenly. Cover with aluminum foil
  11. Place in the oven and bake for 1 hour. Serve as is or with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
