MUFFIE’S MARVELOUS BUFFALO TENDERS
INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- Heat the buffalo sauce and butter in a small sauce pan, stirring until butter is completely melted.
- Once combined, line the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking pan with a thin layer of the buffalo sauce mixture. Set aside.
- Beat the eggs in a small bowl and place in a shallow dish.
- Pour the flour and black pepper in large Ziploc bag.
- Dip the tenders one at a time in the egg mixture, being sure to shake off any excess egg.
- Once coated, place all the tenders in the bag of flour. Close and shake well until all the tenders are completely covered in flour.
- Coat a large sauté pan with olive oil (approx. 3-4 tbsp). Once hot, fry the tenders in batches for about 3 minutes per side (or until the outside is slightly brown).
- Place the tenders in a single layer in the baking pan on top of the buffalo sauce.
- Once complete, pour the remaining buffalo sauce over the tenders evenly. Cover with aluminum foil
- Place in the oven and bake for 1 hour. Serve as is or with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
